3 Steps to Fabulous Skin this Christmas

The secret behind flawless makeup is flawless skin.

No matter how much or how expensive makeup you pile on, it’s not going to look good unless the base, that is your skin, looks great.

Moreover, if you have a flawless complexion, you might not even need that much makeup, except for a swipe of your favorite blush and a little color for your pout.

So before the Holiday season begins in full swing, here are 3 Steps to ensure that you have absolutely flawless and properly prepped up skin for your makeup!

Step 1: Cleanse

Cleansing essentially has two steps. If you have makeup on, you need to use a good makeup remover to get rid of all that pore clogging makeup, oil and dirt in general. Use Triana Miami Chamomile and Aloe Makeup Remover to ensure that all your makeup is properly removed without harsh chemicals.

Next step is the actual cleansing. If you don’t have makeup on, simply start off with this step. Use a good cleanser to remove any leftover makeup or in case of no makeup, any excess sebum, dirt and any other external impurity that your skin might be harboring.

We suggest using Triana Miami Blended Seaweed and Rosehip Cleanser. Simply because, in addition to removing dirt and regenerating lost skin cells, it contains rosehip seed oil, rich in Vitamin A, C, E and F to influence collagen growth.

Step 2: Exfoliate and Tone

Some people argue that exfoliation should be done before cleansing. And, it seems to make sense that you remove the layer of dead skin cells before you thoroughly cleanse of what remains behind.

For best results, use Triana Miami Naha Exfoliating Gel, which is formulated with AHAs to ensure that your skin is exfoliated to the finest level without stripping off excess moisture or tearing it due to abrasive physical scrubbing.

The next step is one of the most ignored steps in most people’s skincare routine. Toning is as essential as any other step of your skincare routine. It helps remove any traces of chemical that your cleanser and exfoliation might have left behind all the while restoring the pH of your skin.

Try Triana Miami Seaweed Clarifying Toner to balance pH, hydrate, soften, stimulate and revitalize skin all at the same time.

Step 3: Nourish and Protect

This step depends on your skin type.

If you have dry skin, you need to focus on moisturization. If you are over 25, you need to apply an anti-aging cream and an eye cream. If you are over 35, you need to invest in a good night cream. If you have any special condition, like acne, you need to put on a good anti-bacterial product.

In any case, you need to nourish your skin with whatever works for it. Take a look at what suits you best from Triana Miami Vitamin C Plus Cream, Triana Miami Biogenic Hyaluronic Acid Cream, Triana Miami Algae Extract PM Therapy Cream, Triana Miami Magic #14, Triana Miami RP Complex Cream and Triana Miami Nourishing K, DCX and Arnica Eye Cream.

The most important and yet another much ignored last step of the skincare routine is protecting with SPF. No matter how old you are, no matter what your age is, no matter what your skin type is or where you live, applying sunscreen is absolutely essential! Give Triana Miami Sunscreen Moisturizing Lotion a try!

5 Beauty Hacks to Help You Look Fab for Under-The-Mistletoe Moments

It’s our favorite time of the year!

The non-stop festivities, huge food spreads AND most importantly, having tons of opportunities to dress up and put our makeup on!

But as much as we like piling on makeup and donning our best face forward, it can get pretty hectic with the huge number of parties to attend or worse, to HOST one ourselves (yup, we are lazy that way)!

So to help you out during the upcoming Holiday season, we have 5 super easy beauty hacks to help you look glamorous all day long through to the end of the day under-the-mistletoe moments!

Holiday Hair

We know how intimidating those complicated holiday hairstyles can be. If you don’t have the time or the co-ordination to create those complex multi-braids, opt for a pre-woven clip-on one!

Create a simple up-do and clip on the ready-made braid or pop on a braided hair band to finish off the look. For those pesky winter flyaway’s, grab a toothbrush (preferably not the one you used last night ;-)), spritz it with hairspray and gently comb down problem spots.

Holiday Eyes

Again those smoky eye makeup’s that look effortlessly glamorous on models, might not be everyone’s piece of cake.

So to glam up your eyes when on the run (Christmas food isn’t going to cook itself), simple use gilded falsies. Put on a pair of false lashes, flecked with a little sparkle, and bat your way through poor cooking skills (no one is judging).

Holiday Cheeks

Nothing says glamour like the hint of a highlighter swept above your cheekbones.

We are not asking you to go all Kim K this Christmas, but a little sparkle here and there won’t hurt. Use a good moisturizer like Triana Miami Vitamin C Plus Cream or Magic #14, put on a hydrating foundation and finish off with a swipe of your favorite highlighter.

Holiday Pout

Pucker it up with Red.

Choose your favorite red color and put it on for some instant glamour. Add a little peppermint oil to your lip color to plump them up like Kylie Jenner’s in a flash.

If you have chapped lips from the dry weather, simply dab your used green tea bag from your morning cup to soothe them down.

Holiday Legs

It might be cold outside but there is no harm in donning your favorite cocktail dress for an indoor’s gathering.

Combat dry, flaky legs with a DIY scrub using sugar and olive oil and flaunt them as you please!

5 Beauty Trends to Rock this Winter!

We are officially done with the bronzed summer looks and Marsala fall looks to rock all that is sparkly during the festive season!

While we can do without all those layers of clothes during the cold season, we absolutely love the winter beauty trends.

Read on to check out Triana Miami’s top 5 Beauty Trends to Rock this Winter:

Sparkle is in! It’s time to bring out your metallic arsenal from your makeup stash!

We recommend trying out theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer® to highlight, Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Sparkle in Thunderstorm to accentuate the eyes and Inglot's AMC glosses to rock the holographic trend!

Plum it Out

When it comes to lips, Plum is the new Red. Everything from aubergines to berry lips is in!

Try NARS Audacious Lipstick in Liv or Wet 'N' Wild MegaLast Lip Color in Sugar Plum Fairy if you are on a budget.

Dew Gone Rogue

There is nothing more unflattering than dry, dull complexion, thanks to the current harsh, cold weather.

We recommend battling it out and rocking the dewy look.

Use Triana Miami Biogenic Hyaluronic Acid Cream to inject back in the lost moisture and apply Magic #14 to prime before applying makeup to sport a transparent, natural glow look.

Sinful Eyes

Raccoon eyes are no more a faux pas.

By keeping the rest of the makeup simple and nude, you can go all dark on the eyes. Be it dark smoky eyes, edge to edge thick liner or completely messed up mascara, bring out the black in you!

Use Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette to try a range of smoked out looks and Maybelline Volum' Express® The Colossal Waterproof Mascara for those spidery lashes!

Flushed Blush

A trend that suits every skin tone and transcends every season is flushed cheeks.

Depending on your skin tone, choose a pink or coral toned blush. Since its drier outside, you might want to opt for cream or liquid blushed to add a little gloss to the flush!

Try Too Faced I Will Always Love You Love Flush Blush!

Rosehip - 2015's Cult Beauty Ingredient

The world is raving about it! It’s effective, it’s natural and it’s the hottest trend in Green Beauty.

It’s none other than Triana Miami’s favorite beauty ingredient, Rosehip Oil.

Why do we love it so much? Simply, because it’s brimming with nutrients like Vitamin E, Fatty Acids (Omega 3, 6 & 9), Vitamin C and other anti-oxidants including lycopene and beta-carotene.

And, if you are a beauty junkie like us, you know that this list checks literally every good skincare essential.

You may claim that you have tried these all separately and together to achieve moderate results. But, let us tell you the killer combination of these nutrients in Rosehip Oil is highly effective.

It can be used for wrinkles, scars and burns, pigmentation, sun damage, acne and acne scarring and stretch marks.

The Vitamin E acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant that calms and hydrates dry and sensitive skin and helps protect skin cells from sun damage. The fatty acids help repair and regenerate damaged skin tissue while Vitamin C acts as a skin brightening, anti-aging antioxidant to restore skin’s natural complexion. Lycopene, on the other hand, protects the skin against premature aging with beta-carotene preventing free-radical damage.

People used Rosehip Oil on decade old scars to see them heal within weeks! And, this was proof enough for us to hop onto the Rosehip bandwagon!

Triana Miami created a star product using Rosehip Oil to help our gorgeous customers fight aging, scars, photo-aging and hyper-pigmentation.

However, we decided to take it up a notch and we added another natural ingredient, seaweed to create Blended Seaweed and Rosehip Cleanser.

Blended Seaweed and Rosehip Cleanser provides a balance between removing dirt and regenerating lost skin cells.

It contains rosehip seed oil, rich in Vitamin A, C, E and F to influence collagen growth and helps to reduce wrinkles and restore a firmer, smoother looking appearance.

HOW to Use Triana Miami Blended Seaweed and Rosehip Cleanser:

Wet face with warm water. Dispense Blended Seaweed and Rosehip Cleanser into your hand and massage onto your face in a circular motion, working a into a lather. Avoid eye area. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use morning and evening.

Where to Store Your Triana Miami Skincare Products

We get a lot of questions from Triana fans about where to store our skincare products. There’s a plethora of information out there about whether refrigeration is necessary and how much sunlight is too much for long lasting creams. And as summer temperatures rise we thought now would be a good time to address that important question.

Triana products are best stored at room temperature and with the lid on it. We work closely with the chemists who formulate our skincare products to ensure that we can provide the best guidance. Together, we carefully select all the ingredients so that we can ensure they are chosen as carefully as possible for efficacy and in the most wholesome form possible. We are extremely proud of the fact that we are Paraben free, a chemical that has been linked to occurrences of cancer.

The end result is that we keep ingredient combinations as simple as possible in an effort to avoid harsh chemicals and provide a nourishing benefit to the skin. So no need to sweat storage, our wholesome products will survive at room temperature! Reach out to learn more about efficacy of Triana Miami skincare.

Wedding Season: The Importance of Bridal Skin Prep

It’s wedding season! So the skincare professionals behind Triana Miami’s all natural products are sounding off with a bridal routine for glowing skin.  Several months before to the big day, brides should commit to a regimen which serves to cleanse, exfoliate, brighten, moisturize the skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

We recommend cleaning every morning and night using the Blended Seaweed and Rosehip Cleanser, ideally with a lava rock or pumis stone. To employ this all natural tool, you take the lava rock, add the cleanser and make small circular motions all around your face and neckline.  Arms and feet are a good idea too.

Following cleansing, use the Natural Seaweed Clarifying Toner once a day and add our Magic Oil. It absorbs right away. Used once a day, the Magic Oil is a super moisturizer that is even great for oily skin.

In AM, follow this with the Anti-oxidant Vitamin C +.

In the PM, after cleansing, apply the PM Algea Extract Cream or the super intense RP Complex Cream.

For hydrated skin around the eye area, use the Nourishing K, DCX and Arnica cream once a day.

To prep your body for surround sound photos during your big day and for the wedding night with your new hubby, plump all the right places with our Body Contouring Cream. It will add a subtle change in skin texture and leave your body looking great.

Happy prepping to all of our Triana Miami brides!
